BALUSHAHI RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon saffron strands
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Mix the all-purpose flour and ghee in a bowl.
- Add yogurt, water, sugar, and saffron, and mix well.
- Knead the flour mixture into a dough and let it rest.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the doughnuts in it until they turn golden brown.
- Once fried, remove from the ghee and dip them into the sugar syrup.
- Place them on a plate and let them cool before serving.
